TOTAL/PARTIAL RECOVERY AIR BLAST ROOMS

Custom designed and built to meet the specific needs of each individual customer.
From the simplest room with manual recovery of the abrasive to plants with fully automatic recovery of the mechanical type with scrapers or pneumatic type with collection hoppers. Structure in steel sections and sandwich-type modular panels with high-density insulation and high soundproofing capacity.
Internal coating in anti-abrasive rubber, applied with an easy replacement system, in order to guarantee complete protection of the chamber.
Internal lighting is ensured by LED lamps located on the roof and protected by transparent lexan panels.
The sandblasting operation takes place by pressing the control lever of the sandblaster located on the lance.
The abrasive projected falls on the floor and is recovered manually or automatically and conveyed to the mouth of the bucket elevator which raises it up to the pneumatic separator. Inside, the cleaning and reconditioning of the abrasive is carried out. In this way, impurities, abrasive fragments, waste, dust, oxides and calamines are eliminated. In the lower part of the separator, therefore, only clean and selected abrasive arrives for the subsequent sandblasting cycles.
The regeneration of the abrasive is obtained thanks to the self-cleaning cartridge filtration unit which also provides for the dedusting of the inside of the chamber.

Typology of the different abrasive recovery systems
Manual recovery:
The abrasive is manually recovered by the operator and conveyed into a loading hopper positioned in a corner of the sandblasting chamber. The hopper can be buried or remain above ground based on the specific request of the customer. From there the abrasive is lifted by a bucket elevator and loaded into the pneumatic separator for its regeneration. The clean abrasive is reintroduced into the sandblaster for the subsequent operating cycles.

Automatic recovery of mechanical type – Scrapers
The system allows you to work continuously without worrying about the abrasive scattered on the ground during the sandblasting operation. The system recovers the abrasive, regenerates it and puts it back into the cycle. It is composed of a series of longitudinal rows of scrapers with oscillating blades in number proportional to the dimensions of the chamber.

The steel blades are mounted on a sliding frame controlled by a pneumatic cylinder.
The abrasive is conveyed in a transversal row of scrapers which deposit it at the foot of the bucket elevator.
The elevator conveys the abrasive into the separator for its regeneration.
The clean abrasive is reintroduced into the sandblaster for the subsequent operating cycles.

Pneumatic automatic recovery - Hoppers
The floor of the chamber is made up of many small hoppers in quantities proportional to the surface of the floor. The air, sucked in from openings positioned on the roof, is conveyed downwards, passes through the hoppers carrying the abrasive and conveys it to a separator cyclone. The cyclone consists of two concentric cylinders.
The aspirated air/powder/abrasive mixture is forced to spiral downwards in the gap between the two cylinders. Due to the centrifugal force, the abrasive, which is the heaviest material, is projected towards the walls of the cyclone and then falls to the bottom where it is collected. Air and dust, on the other hand, come out of the internal cylinder and are filtered by the cartridge filter positioned downstream of the system. The abrasive thus selected is reintroduced into the sandblaster for the subsequent operating cycles.
